VIDEO ANALYSIS
THREE ANGLES. ONE ANSWER.
Film your bowling, throwing or batting on an ordinary phone from three angles, send it to me, and receive a detailed written analysis, annotated key frames and a targeted programme — without booking an appointment. Re-test using the same filming standard and see how your movement and technique have changed.
WHAT YOU GET
ANALYSIS
A 17-item screen covering action type, injury-risk mechanics, legality and performance factors.
For bowling and throwing, movement is assessed at back-foot contact, front-foot contact and release. Batting is assessed through backlift, downswing and impact.
Each item includes a confidence rating based on the quality and angles of the footage supplied.
REPORT
A detailed written report in the CDPhysio format using a five-band status system: RED · ORANGE · AMBER · YELLOW · GREEN. Your injury and workload history is considered alongside the video findings to explain: What the footage shows. What it may mean for injury risk and performance. What should be addressed first.
FEEDBACK VIDEO
Annotated key-frame images with important lines and positions clearly marked, together with a short recorded walk-through explaining the findings.
Everything is delivered to your private client folder.
PROGRAMME
A downloadable programme based on your individual findings, including technique cues, appropriate loading and specific drills to work on.
RE-TEST
Film the action again using the same filming standard.
The before-and-after footage can then be compared using the same positions and key frames to measure progress consistently.
Who it suits
Fast and spin bowlers of any age, throwers, batters, parents of young bowlers managing load and technique, and coaches wanting an independent read on a player.

HOW TO FILM
The analysis is only as good as the footage. Follow this standard and it will be right first time.
1
THE ANGLES
SIDE-ON · BEHIND · ARM
Side-on, level with the popping crease on your bowling-arm side (front-knee, trunk, stride length). Directly behind the run-up (counter-rotation, hip–shoulder separation, foot alignment). A third view with a clear line on the bowling arm for the legality screen. Three angles grade everything; one or two still give a useful, honestly-labelled read.
2
SETTINGS
PHONE · LANDSCAPE · SLOW-MO IF YOU CAN
Any phone. Turn it sideways, hold it steady or use a tripod, about 8–12 m away at hip height. Use slow-motion (120–240 fps) if your phone has it; normal speed still works, a few items are simply marked lower confidence.
3
WHAT TO CAPTURE
WHOLE DELIVERY STRIDE
Back-foot contact through the follow-through in frame, for bowling and throwing. For batting, from the top of the backlift to the finish of the shot. Six to eight seconds a clip.
4
HOW MANY?
THREE TO FIVE DELIVERIES
At match-representative intensity. Same set-up every time is what makes a re-test meaningful.

YOU DO NOTHING — I LINE THEM UP
Bowling and throwing clips are read at back-foot contact, front-foot contact and release; batting clips at ball impact. Every finding in your report is tied to one of those frames, so the angles read as one action.
A NOTE ON ACCURACY !
Two-dimensional smartphone video provides useful and repeatable comparisons when the same player is filmed under the same conditions. It does not replace laboratory motion-capture analysis. Angles and movement findings are therefore interpreted appropriately and are particularly useful for comparing changes between tests rather than claiming laboratory-level measurements.
